New with tags this stunning vintage Dave & Johnny formal black velvety dress with feather bust. Made in the USA! Size 9/10. Has a 6.5" slit in the middle of the back/bottom of the dress. Zipper up the back. Length from armpit to bottom hem is about 36". Sturdy black shoulder straps. Feathers have flattened in the back on one side due to another garment in the closet pressed against this dress. Very hard to get pictures of it as the feathers are so silky and shiny and black. Couple spots on the front lower part of the bust as well. But the front feathers were exactly like that when I purchased it. So I don't know if it's just how they made it because the arms move at that point. Just making sure that I give all the details possible so that the buyer will be confident and happy with their purchase. This is a gorgeous dress. Price reflects the issue with the way the feathers lay. Perfect for New Year's Eve parties or other formal events. Never been worn. From a smoke-free home.
