This spectacular vintage statement necklace features a delightful owl pendant, showcasing the best of late 1960s/early 1970s costume jewelry design. The highly detailed gold-tone metal pendant features a large, striking domed turquoise/aqua Lucite cabochon body, with the owl perched on a textured branch.
The owl's head is beautifully detailed with a pierced cap, textured feathers, and a single bright emerald green glass cabochon eye. This piece is costume jewelry and is unmarked. It is currently paired with a non-original but complementary premium 36-inch gold-tone rope chain, creating a long, elegant sautoir style necklace perfect for layering or wearing solo. Both the pendant and chain are vintage and in excellent shape.
