Based on my personal experience, here's how it fits. I'm comparing it to the Japanese-made Levi's. This item would likely be a perfect fit for someone who usually wears a W31 in the 501. It's not suitable for those who prefer a looser fit. I'm selling it because I prefer a more relaxed fit.
I like the silhouette and material so much that I'd buy a size up if this one sells. I really think the Japanese-made ones are excellent.
