The top of the stems look like they could have been used as candle sticks, as the surface is flat and appropriate for putting something on top. However, I do not see any signs that something was ever attached there. It is clean and smooth.
In excellent condition - no cracks or damage of any sort. It looks like there are 2 different types of screws that are used to attach the cherub to the flower base.
