I made this lustrous freshwater cultured pearls and golden coral 4-strand necklace with sterling beads and a sterling toggle clasp. It is a crossover or twist necklace, meaning you can twist the pearl strands around each other or wear is as it is. One strand of pearls is faceted to add extra sparkle and luster. It will make wonderful Anniversary, birthday, or Mother's Day present. Or gift it to yourself. You deserve it!
Only pearls of high quality can be faceted, as larger surface spots will show even after faceting. Also the lustre must be good from the beginning as there is no enhancement of the shine during the process. Pearls are faceted by hand using diamond cutting, with no coating or any other kind of treatment. The process is very expensive but worth the cost for the resulting beauty.
Please note that my poor photography cannot duplicate the depth and the incredible golden reflections found in golden coral. This is a really gorgeous necklace.
