Beautiful Victorian early 1900's compact/locket knecklace made of silver-toned metal.The pendant measures 1 3/4".The front has a gold guilloche enameled background with a black enameled band around the edge and silhouetted kissing lovers also black enameled in the center. The back of the pendant is black enameled.It has a very delicate detailed edging and is hung from a silver-toned chain measuring 24" in circumference.The chain has no clasp and the knecklace fits over the head easily because of the length.The pendant inside has a very nicely preserved mirror but no powder or puff inside. There is a metal ring on the inside purpose unknown.No maker mark or stamp found on the piece.This compact is in wonderful condition! Very minimal wear or scratching on the piece!
