Beautiful antique Victorian / early Edwardian mens formal frock coat, dating to approximately 18801910. This piece features exceptional hand-applied black soutache braidwork, ornate passementerie details, and decorative cuffs. Designed to be worn open over a waistcoat in traditional late-19th-century formalwear. Size S/M womens, XS/S mens.
This is a genuine period garment (not a reproduction) and would be ideal for collectors, costumers, film/theater wardrobes, historical reenactment, or gothic/avant-garde styling.
Condition:Excellent as-is antique condition with expected age wear and areas of fraying on edges. Some dust, could use a lint roll. Structurally sound for its age. Please see photos for details.
