A good condition untested Vintage 1970's Marantz Stereo Cassette Deck, The Model 5400 features a classic 1970s top-loading layout, with a mechanical 3-digit tape counter. It is capable of handling normal, chrome, and ferro-chrome tapes, with manual tape type selection. The deck features analog needle VU meters with peak indicators to help set optimal recording levels. It also includes Dolby B noise reduction to minimize tape hiss and a switchable MPX filter for use with FM stereo broadcasts. It provides RCA inputs and outputs for connection to other audio components and two microphone inputs with jack connectors for live recordings. A headphone jack is also included for private listening.
