The arundhati Roy book set the god of small things and ministry hardcover 1st ed

Ok, so here’s the deal with booker prize winning god of small things. You will be scammed by sellers, esp on bay. The true 1st actually starts with 2 and underneath that is the first edition slug. Way back in 1997, when the book was published, random house liked to confuse people by stating a first by using a 2 and that number line stopped I think after white teeth or something. Anyway a first of this book will never have letters in it, like 13579B66420 or other weird numbers like that and the sellers will claim the copy is a first because there is a 1. Anyway, here’s another way to tell if the book is a first. The end papers have to have the book jacket design, as pictured. The lowest price I found was 39 for a true 1st, but you’re getting a bargain for 2.
