Vintage 1950s International Costume Doll Set w/ Boxes, Hong Kong, 5 Dolls

Lovely mid-century set of 5 "International / Heritage Costume" dolls made in
Hong Kong during the late 1950s to early 1960s. Hard plastic bodies with painted
faces, movable heads and arms, molded painted shoes, and original satin costumes.

Included:
• Miss Ireland – Ivory dress with green shamrock appliqué and felt clover headpiece

Boxes show vintage storage wear,
including corner wear and old tape reinforcement. Dolls show normal vintage age
to hair and fabrics. Legs are not bendable — dolls are displayed seated or
leaning against their boxes, as typical for this style. Dolls may not match box description. Sold as is, check pics carefully.

This is a coordinated original set. These dolls were commonly sold in department store gift aisles and tourist shops as "International Costume
Dolls" during the 1950s–60s. Full sets with boxes are increasingly hard to find.
