Doing an extensive search for information concerning this item, allow me to share the following
In 1938, Faberge released Tigress to France
In 1940, the perfume was launched in the Unites States
In the 40s it was deemed “the perfect perfume for furs”
In the 60s…“Wild! Is the word for the uninhibited jungle beat of Tigress Parfum Extraordinaire.”
In 1979, Faberge released a flanker of Tigress called Tigress Musk. It had some of the same notes as the original Tigress but it was heavy on the musk
By 1985 Tigress seems to have been discontinued

Tigress is highly sought after for the original Tigress Parfum

This item was advertised in a 1966 Faberge Tigress Perfume Ad "Wild, wilful, uninhibited - the way you feel."
I received this from my mother in 1970 when I was 18 years old. I have never opened this, NEVER!

It includes the original protective cover to the gift box, protecting the tiger print theme reflected in the early Faberge Tigress Campaign
