A fine original wood engraving by American artist Thomas Nason. The title of this piece is: "A New England Stream" It was created and printed in 1951 in an edition of 400. This image was originally sold through Associated American Artists in New York. The image measures. Excellent condition hand signed by the artist lower right.
Matting measures 14'' x 18'' (it will fit in a frame opening of this size." Size of visible image is 10.4'' x 6.5''. One small surface blemish in the bottom right of the stream, hardly noticeable. Print and matting has darkened slightly due to age. Black ink is still rich and dark with no fading. Please review all images.
