A pair of rare oil paintings on board signed "Montiel". The artist is Andres Montiel. One is of a portrait subject and the other is of a floral subject. They were at one point sold at Doyle Action House in New York. The pair are the same size and come framed and matted. Dimensions are approximately 15.5'' x 24.5'' Could be a great bargain find for you art experts if you can identify the Doyle sale when they were sold. They do look great on a wall for you decorators and modern art aficionado's.
Andrés Montiel was born in Adrogué, Buenos Aires, Argentina. He has been passionate about art since he was a young child. After studying with some successful Argentine artists in the city, Andrés enrolled in the P. Pueyrredon National Fine Arts College in Buenos Aires, Argentina to further his artistic education. His paintings blend a combination of traditional techniques with contemporary subjects.
