Vintage Murano sommerso glass bowl, circa 1970s. This sculptural piece features a deep cobalt blue core encased in layers of opaline (alabastro-style) glass, creating a luminous, gemstone-like geode effect.
Reminiscent of work by makers such as Seguso, Cenedese, and Galliano Ferro. Crafted using the sommerso (submerged) technique, with a smooth ground and polished pontil base.
Perfect as a decorative object, catchall, or small accent bowl.
