Vintage 10 Piece Nativity Figures Animals Hand Painted from Italy 1.5”-5”

Beautifully detailed set marked Italy on each piece. All painted, some with gold highlights. Set ranges in size from 1 1/2" to 5 1/2". Unsure of exact age. Possibly 1940's - 50's. In very good vintage condition for its age. This set includes figures of Mary, Joseph, baby Jesus in a manger, three wise men, a shepherd, a camel, an ox and a donkey. All in all, a lovely display and a very special nativity set! Baby Jesus in a manger: a few paint chips (super tiny on top and bottom right of manger, right hand, one toe, clothing) Mary - no visible paint chipsJoseph - no visible paint chips
Three Wise Men: Melchior (Frankincense): paint chips around bottom edge. Balthasar (holding the Myrrh): no visible paint chips. Caspar (holding Gold): has a paint chip on his crown, small paint chip on his cloth and tiny paint chips on his hair at the backside of the figurine.
Shepherd - super tiny paint chips on the backside on trunk of tree and grass.
