Vintage 1940's Sterling Silver Star of David Marcasite Pendant – Uncas Mfg. Co. Hallmarked
Beautiful 1949 Star of David pendant charm by Uncas Mfg. Co., crafted in sterling silver and set with pavé marcasite stones. Hallmarked with the early arrow-through-U Uncas maker’s mark and stamped “STERLING.”
This pendant has been in my collection for many years and has always been carefully kept. The marcasite stones are bright and intact with high shine, showing only light age-appropriate wear on backside. Measures approximately .75 inch.
Uncas Mfg. Co., founded by Vincent Sorrentino in 1911 in Providence, Rhode Island, was known for fine sterling silver craftsmanship and detailed designs. This is a lovely example of mid-century Judaica jewelry and collectible vintage sterling silver.
