Never Used. This elegant Aizu Ryūmon-yaki (會津流紋燒) futaoki (蓋置) is a fine ceramic rest used during the Japanese tea ceremony to hold the kettle lid or, alternatively, to support the handle of a ladle. Crafted in the traditional Ryūmon-yaki style, the piece features soft, flowing glazes of pale blue with subtle lavender undertones, accented by earthy brown along the rim and base.
