Small Vintage Cake Decoration, Girl or Boy on Sledge or Toboggan c1930s, c1950s

This fab vintage ceramic ornament depicts a girl, or boy, with blonde hair on a sledge or toboggan. They are wearing black boots and are dressed in bright blue trousers, a white top and a hat with a red top and black peak. It was probably designed as a cake decoration or cake topper but could be used in a diorama  or with a doll's house, as an ornament to display, for instance, in a printer's tray. I think it probably dates to between 1930s to 1950s. In good vintage condition with no cracks or chips, but there is wear to the paint as seen in photos, and marks on the base which may be where it's been placed on a Christmas cake in the past!
