Vintage French Biscuit Tin with Glass Display Top Patisserie Very french Country

I purchased this tin and just paid a fortune for it. They see the English girl coming with the bad French and a phrase book in hand every time! I love this tin and I used it to display on top of my big old French cupboard for many years. I imagine it full of freshly baked madeleines in a wonderful French patisserie. It couldn't be more old-school French. We are renovating and I no longer have the place for it. I kept it for a while thinking it might become clear as a good display piece but I need to list it so that someone else can love it as much as we did. Vintage gems are becoming increasingly harder to find, we are coming home on thrift days with less and less every time. We used to wonder how it was all going to fit in the car. There were times when I even had to get the train home! A chance to get a piece of French style in your home. Thank You.
