In honor of its 75th Anniversary, Fenton reintroduced the Velva Rose Stretch Glass, which was originally crafted in the 1920s. The first reissue occurred in 1980, featuring a limited selection of items to commemorate Fenton's 75 years of production. The Velva Rose collection was only available for one year before being discontinued. Nevertheless, additional items were produced in 1981 and 1982, although they did not carry the 75th-year designation. This particular set, distinctly marked to celebrate the 75th anniversary, was produced in 1980.
Aside from one bowl that shows signs of use and marks on the interior, this set remains in outstanding condition, with no dings or breaks observed. The salver has a diameter of 8.25 inches and a height of 1.5 inches, while the bowls measure 6 inches in diameter and 3 inches in height.
This set would serve as a delightful addition to any Fenton collection.
