Beautiful vintage Thorens music box featuring a high-quality Swiss mechanical movement. Thorens is world-renowned for their precision engineering, and this piece is a wonderful example of their craftsmanship.
​The movement is housed in a solid wood case with a protective glass inner lid, allowing you to watch the cylinder and comb work as it plays. The original paper label is still intact on the underside of the lid with the model number J 942 726.
​Condition:
​Movement: Tested and working. The music plays clearly (refer to video).
​Comb: Excellent condition with no missing teeth.
​Exterior: The wood case shows light vintage wear/patina consistent with age, adding to its authentic character. No major cracks or damage.
​Interior: Glass is clear and the label is clean.
