・ San Tai Senji / Three-Style Thousand Character Text:
A thousand-character rhyming poem written in China during the time of Emperor Wu.
A book that has been passed down as a calligraphy model from ancient times to the present day.
It consists of a thousand different kanji characters, and it makes sense as a long poem.
It is a kind of bible for people who study calligraphy.
It is convenient not only as a model but also as a dictionary to look up the characters, as it has the three styles of Kaisho (block script), Gyosho (semi-cursive script), and Sosho (cursive script) written side by side.
Many teachers in Japan have also published San Tai Senji texts.
