This is a highly sought-after 144, which was discontinued over a decade ago and is no longer available new.
This particular pen is an early model, manufactured in the early 1980s, and features an ebonite feed, rather than the cost-reduced resin feed found in later models.
Unlike the successor model, the 145, which has a screw-on cap, this pen has a snap-on cap, making it more convenient to use.
The nib width is extra fine, the most popular size, making it easy to write fine lines.
While there are minor scratches overall and a slight crack-like mark on the cap, these are reasonable considering the age of the pen. There are no defects and no engraved name.
