This is a complete collection of games played by Shusaku Takagawa, the 22nd Honinbo.
It includes games from 1924, before he entered the professional ranks, to 1976. He is one of the most representative Go players of the Showa era, boasting brilliant achievements such as his nine consecutive Honinbo titles, a "monumental achievement." A handwritten calligraphy is included when you open the case. Please enjoy.
Published in 1979. Multiple owner item. Volume 1 has damage such as a broken binding string and a warped cover. Also, Volume 7 has a folded corner on the inside of the cover due to a manufacturing defect. The inside pages are free of stains and damage, and there are no problems with understanding the content.
