Elegant late 30s/early 40s dress in rich coppery chocolate brown liquid silk with a flattering peplum silhouette and straight skirt. Features a satin Peter Pan collar and cuffs adorned with daisy appliqués and rhinestone centers. 3/4 length sleeves. Matching rhinestone buttons down the bodice. Hidden side metal zipper closure. A romantic, structured piece with refined deco details.
Flaws include faint “scuffs” on the surface of the fabric, dye discoloration on collar, and loose threads/cracking on back of the matching belt. Overall, it’s in remarkable condition for its age.
