From the "Encounter" label, led by the peerless funky drummer "BERNARD PURDIE," comes this work by a group led by drummer LARRY BLACKMON, who later became a member of CAMEO. This is the only rare album by the band "EAST COAST," which featured a young GREGORY JOHNSON and GWEN GUTHRIE. The album is a masterpiece, featuring the fast-paced funky track A1 "I Found You," B1 "Any Thing You Have In Mind," and the stormy and emotional masterpiece A2 "Keep On Trying." It also includes the funky instrumental tune A3 "Miss Gigi" and the heavy and soulful B3 "I've Got Reclaim You," along with a series of other excellent and highly sophisticated tracks throughout the album.
