Beautiful EAPG clear glass pedestal footed centerpiece bowl
Smooth scalloped rim
Center starburst or sunburst medallion created by cut glass effect under the bowl
Plain domed half-sphere pedestal (base is open so piece sits on its rim)
Unbranded, no maker’s mark, common in these early American glassmaker pieces—possibly Flint Glass, Bryce Higbee, Anchor Hocking, Westmoreland, U.S. Glass, or Imperial Glass—cannot identify this exact piece/pattern in any brand (and various image searches have named all of the above company names as likely makers)
Regardless, it is classic Early American Pattern Glass, probably from the late 1800s to early 1900s
Fluoresces a faint green under UV light indicating at least small amounts of uranium oxide and manganese
Very good preowned condition—a random scratch or two but no chips, cracks, repairs
7” tall x 9 1/2” diameter bowl
Weighs a hefty 41.4 ounces (2 pounds 9.4 ounces)
Please see photos for appearance & condition
