This cardigan is a vintage, hand-knit Italian sweater made for the former American department store Hengerer's (William Hengerer Co.). Dates to the 1960s based on similar vintage mohair garments and the department store's history.
Brand: Made in Italy for Hengerer's. The Wm. Hengerer Co., a historic department store based in Buffalo, New York, operated from the late 1800s until it was merged into Sibley's in 1981.
