Stunning vintage antique shirt, from the second half of the 1800s. Possibly a man's shirt but would be perfect for a woman as well. White linen with long ruffled cuffed sleeves. A high ruffled neck and braided ribbon cutwork down the shoulders. French seams. Has three buttons up the top part of the shirt, the bottom has no closures. Label reads: none. Volup size, but do see measurements below. This could be worn with the buttons in back as well for a pigeon bust look.
Excellent vintage condition. There is one pinhead sized orange marks, see photo. There is a dime sized hole at the neckline that looks like it could be repaired fairly easily. There's also a half inch tear and a pinhead sized hole near one shoulder.
Measurements when lying flat. Doubled at bust and waist.
Armpit to armpit across bust: 62"
Waist: Open but about 60"
Shoulder to bottom hem: 28"
