Originally approached by Beatrix Potter herself, John Beswick Pottery began producing figurines of her classic characters in 1940. Sculpted to be meticulously faithful to her illustrations, each was hand painted with details that brought the pages to life.
From 1903’s the Tailor of Gloucester, one of the resourceful mice on a spool of thread. Modeled by Arthur Gredington and produced 1949-2002. Approx. 3.5” H. BP-3A backstamp. Made in England. No condition issues.
