Two original 19th-century cabinet card portraits, offered as a pair. Card #1 is a sharp studio portrait of a middle-aged man with a prominent handlebar mustache, wearing a suit and bow tie. Photographer imprint reads “Geo. F. Martin, Photographer, 216 West Market St., Louisville, KY.” Card #2 is a lighter, more softly printed studio portrait of a younger man in formal attire with bow tie; the back is handwritten and identifies him as “Mr. Eddie Harrison,” dated June 15, 1898. Both are albumen cabinet photographs mounted on period card stock. Overall condition is good for age with expected toning, light surface spotting, edge wear, and minor corner loss; image detail remains visible on both, with #2 notably faded but historically appealing due to the handwritten identification and exact date. A solid pair of late-19th-century American studio portraits with Louisville, Kentucky provenance, suitable for collectors of Victorian photography, named photographs, or regional history.
