I believe this is a pair of Gurkha pattern shorts, likely used by the British Army in the 1980s.

They feature a distinctive waist and side adjusters. These details give a neat and stylish impression when tucking in shirts or cut-and-sew tops.

They are versatile and can be worn with sneakers, sandals, or even classic leather shoes like loafers.

One of the waist buttons has come off, so it has been resewn with khaki thread. Please see the photos.
