A true vintage sci-fi collectible from the golden age of Space 1999 toys.
This is an original Dinky Toys Space 1999 Eagle Transporter made by Meccano in 1974, finished in the distinctive green colorway. A classic die-cast and plastic spacecraft inspired by the iconic Eagle from the Space 1999 television series. These early Dinky Eagles are highly collectible, even in incomplete condition, and are often sought after for restoration projects, display, or parts.
Condition
Played-with and incomplete condition. The bottom white framework section is missing, along with some red rear pieces. Several of the red cross-shaped details on the leg assemblies show cracks, breaks, or missing sections. There is visible play wear, paint loss, and surface wear throughout, consistent with age and use. No box included.
Best suited for parts, restoration, or vintage play display.
