EUC!!!!!!! Consolidated Glass Martele Purple Wash Hummingbird and Orchids Compote/Dish (c. 1920's). The dish is in excellent condition… no chips, cracks or repairs. The dish is approximately 3.5 inches tall and 6.5 inches long in diameter.
Lovely to keep it to give as a gift. Gorgeous vintage piece!
Consolidated Glass is a beautiful, heavy, thick glass from the Consolidated Lamp and Glass, Co. in Coraopolis, PA. The pieces are clear glass with a colored wash applied and then fired to make it adhere to the glass (hence, there may be some worn places in the coloring, and if placed in a modern dishwasher – NOT recommended – the colored wash will come off).
