A stunning and large (!) vintage Chinese duck tureen /pate dish in excellent, almost new condition.
The duck on the lid with it’s light blue head and stunning light green and emerald feathers is still beautifully glossy.
The hand painted decorations on the pot are featuring duck swimming in a lotus pond and a flowered rim with pink flowers.
This beautiful piece can serve as a centerpiece on your (Easter or Witsun) table or you could use it for any other occasion as well. It will of course match any other (Chinese) tableware beautifully. It could be used for a pate or oven dish or to serve a home made or catered dish in.
It can also be used as a decorative piece for your kitchen or living room or to store chocolates or cookies.
We haven’t spotted any flaws just very very minor or as little as no wear to the hand painted decorations as you can see from the pictures.
Also the bottom/base is very clean and looks unused. There is no pottery mark.
