This beautiful Victorian-era milk glass shaker features a quilted/basket pattern body with a hand-painted floral band in orange and green. The metal screw-top cap is stamped June 2, 1857, which refers to the patent date for this style of lid. These caps were commonly used from the 1870s1890s, which is the likely production period for this piece.
