This vintage leaf pin by Sarah Cov is made of pink/coral thermoset Lucite. It's a thick cut-out figural set on a silver or pale gold-tone metal frame. It is called Autumn Splendor and is from a mid-1970s SC collection.
The large leaf is made of thermoset hard plastic, which is thick and chunky on its outline base. The pink/coral color has a bit of marbling. The pin measures 3 inches long by 1 3/4 inches wide. The back is textured silver tone with a secure rollover clasp and the hallmark SARAHCOV.
Excellent vintage condition. This pin is featured in two books... Identifying Sarah Coventry Jewelry 1949-2009 by Sandra Sturdivant and Shirley Crabtree, and Mid Century Plastic Jewelry by Susan Maxine Klein.
