Rookwood Pottery squat vase from 1928 features a unique two handle design. The majority of these vases are three handled. This one is much scarcer.
A matte pink to green color, drip glaze embodying the Art Deco style popular in the early 20th century.
Hand-molded and signed by Rookwood, this 97 year old piece stands at 3 1/4" in height and 4.5" at its widest point. From handle to handle. Model number # 354
Those darker spots you see in my photos are the green glaze spots from the firing glaze process.
This original art pottery vase is a stunning representation of North American craftsmanship from the 1920s.
Beautiful clean piece in excellent condition.
