This listing is for a vintage to antique aqua blue glass demitasse cup and saucer with heavy gold gilt and enamel floral decoration. The glass has some uranium content and glows under a black light. The shape of the cup also seems to be uncommon.
It is my belief this cup & saucer set were made by Moser. The glass also looks similar to Murano glass. I concluded this was produced by Moser based on the concentric rings on the center of the saucer. I observed very similar concentric rings on the saucer of another cup & saucer that were to my eyes much more obviously produced by Moser.
The cup and saucer together have a height of about 1-7/8 inches. The saucer has a diameter of about 4 inches.
The cup & saucer are in good condition overall with some issues to note. There is a small chip along the edge of the saucer (see photos). There is some rubbing wear / loss of the gold gilt decoration. Please see photos.
