Serviced item: SONY WM-EX633 Sony Cassette Walkman, with charger and battery

【Condition】
・Please judge from the photos, but I personally think it's generally clean.

【Operational Status】
・The main unit charges with this charger and the new gum-type battery, and plays tapes without any problems.
・The main unit powers on and plays tapes without any problems using a single AA battery in a test adapter. ← This set does not include the adapter.
・In a test lasting several hours, playback, fast forward, rewind, auto-reverse, volume control without static, BL SKIP, HOLD, and sound output from the earphones all worked without any problems.
★ As shown in photo 5, the plastic part of the DOLBY NR switch is broken and cannot be switched. If you move it to the ← direction, Dolby will be turned on, but it will not return to standard (DOLBY off), so please be aware.
If you want to listen to all tapes with Dolby on, move the switch to the ← direction (it will not return to standard afterwards).

【Maintenance】
・Replaced the tape drive rubber belt with a new, ultra-thin, square-type, domestically-made belt compatible with Walkmans.
・Cleaned the head, pinch roller, capstan, etc., with anhydrous ethanol.
・Improved electrical contact with contact restoration spray.
・Lubricated and cleaned gears, internal circuit boards, and the main unit's volume control using parts cleaner, oil, etc.
・Cleaned the exterior with AV panel cleaner and disinfected with alcohol.
・Demagnetized the head using TDK's head eraser AH-201.
・Regarding the adjustment of the cassette speed, I do not have a measurement tape or measurement software, so I inserted earphones, with a digital audio source in the left ear and a commercial cassette tape source in the right ear, and started playing the same music simultaneously, adjusting it repeatedly to achieve almost the same speed.

●Notes
・Although the sound quality and condition are good, this is an old product, so you cannot expect the same performance as a new one. Please understand that this is sold as-is.
・It is recommended not to use long tapes of 90 minutes or more, or poor quality cassette tapes. Reverse playback may not work, or there may be severe sound fluctuations during playback. (I tested 25 of my own 90-minute cassette tapes, and they all worked without any problems on this unit.)
