Northwood introduced the color amethyst in glass between 1908 and 1909. The death of the two Northwood brothers in 1918 & 1919 led to the decline of the company and by 1925 the firm ceased.
The Northwood signature mark is the underlind N in a circle. Generally found on the bottom of the glassware.
This bowl was likely produced in 1908 or 1909. Dating this piece at over 100 years old, and making it a very hard to find pattern. The earmark of an antique piece.
Measurements are approximate: 6 inches diameter, 2-1/4 inches tall, and 1-3/8 footprint.
