This vintage MCM Mid Century Modern necklace is a stunning piece of jewelry that features black onyx beads and a silver graduated ball chain. The necklace has a high quality tongue and box closure and weighs 107.7 grams. It is 24" length and has a beaded style that is perfect for any occasion, including graduations. It has lapidary hand crafted and polished onyx stone beads and has a metal purity of 925. Overall high quality with high end clasp, thick well made beads, Art Deco our Southwestern look, and good overall balance. The clasp is stamped Sterling with no other hallmarks that we could find. We believe this was made by professional silversmith and lapidary circa 1930s-1980s. There's a significant amount of precious metal silver contact which backstops your investment; otherwise this necklace is for a person whom wishes to project elegance, sophistication, and wealth in a subtle manner. In excellent pre owned clean condition, no issues.
