This brooch/pendant was made by QVC, designed by Kenneth Jay Lane. It is part of the Treasures of the Duchess collection, began selling in 1993 and is now retired. The jewelry in this line imitated fine pieces of jewelry owned by the Duchess of Windsor, Wallis Simpson. It is 2.5" across. The two chains are not for sale, they are samples of how the brooch/pendant can be worn.
The original brooch was made by Suzanne Belperron in 1936 of blue chalcedony, diamonds, and sapphires set in white gold. The KJL version has lavender resin petals, with a short row of clear rhinestones at their base. The center has individually set blue swirled resin cabochons. I included a photo of the ***ORIGINAL*** so you could see how magnificently KJL replicated it. Please do NOT CONFUSE THE KJL AND ORIGINAL PHOTOS. THE ORIGINAL BROOCH IS NOT FOR SALE.
