Dry Creek turquoise is a rare, hard, pale blue or creamy white turquoise from a small mine in Nevada, known for its unique lack of heavy metals, giving it a pastel color with brown/gold matrix, and it's highly valued for its beauty and scarcity, often called "Sacred Buffalo" by the Shoshone who discovered it in the 1990s. It takes a beautiful polish without treatment, unlike most pale turquoise, and its mine is now largely depleted, making it a collector's gem.
