Vintage Cowichan Style Wool Hand Knit Cardigan Sweater. Heavy weight, thick wool with a Mary Maxim chevron pattern. Full zip closure with a hand-sewn Lightning Zipper. I believe the zipper dates this sweater to the 1950s. Hip pockets, shawl-style collar.
Overall, good vintage condition with some wear that is expected with age. It has some staining/marks on the sleeves, body and hem. It has some residue (not sure what it is) that has dried hard in some areas. The sleeves are a bit miss-shapen. The sweater has some general fuzzing in some areas. There are a few visible tie-offs. I have not tried to stain treat or re-shape.
