Vintage Biblical Abiding In The Vine Michigan Artist Gary Wilson Hand Crafted 18" Lattice Raised Relief Pottery Floor Vase Umbrella Stand
This was purchased in June 1993 at the Reeds Lake Art Fair in East Grand Rapids, Michigan, directly from expert potter/teacher Gary Wilson. It's sturdy and heavy, and has a strong character/presence, given its intricate detail, fine artisan quality, and spiritual depth, as conveyed by biblical themes expressed in his unique niche. It measures roughly 18" tall x 9' in diameter at its widest point. The "vase" has been used as an antique umbrella/cane stand for display indoors since its purchase in 1993. Excellent condition, showing no damage/flaws. Included is a personal thank-you letter from the artist, as well as a laminated paper with the work's title (ABIDING IN THE VINE), followed by the description & ethos of the piece:
