This item is a Visconti Ragtime fountain pen, the M (medium) nib, a 20th-anniversary commemorative model.
RAGTIME is a music genre popular in America from the 1800s to the 1920s, a groovy and lively dance music that originated in New Orleans and St. Louis.
This pen was originally released in 1991 as Visconti's second model, and was re-released in 2008 with a limited edition of 1988 pieces to commemorate the company's 20th anniversary. The cap is engraved with a serial number, 0866/1988.
I purchased it at a fountain pen shop in Florence, and it is in almost unused condition.

Compared to current Visconti fountain pens, this one has a more graceful, Art Deco-like curve, and is a dignified pen that exudes a sense of eroticism.
The body is made of resin decorated with gold powder in places, and all the metal parts, including the nib, are unified in a gold tone.
The nib is 14K M (medium) and is a special one with a 20th-anniversary commemorative engraving. I think the deliberately small size is also elegant.
Ink is filled by rotating the metal part that appears when the tail shaft is removed. It's more like a built-in converter type (non-removable) rather than a so-called piston filler.

This is a must-have item for Visconti fans and fountain pen enthusiasts.
