A striking antique H & C porcelain oyster plate, crafted by Heinrich & Co., one of Bavaria’s premier porcelain manufacturers. This piece dates approximately from 1896 to the early 1920s, a period when the company produced some of its most collectible hand-finished tablewares.

The plate features six molded oyster wells arranged in a floral-like rosette around a central lemon or sauce well. Each oyster compartment is shaped and tinted in soft rose-pink tones, highlighted with realistic gray crescent markings that imitate natural oyster shell interiors. Deep green and ivory accents fill the channels between the wells, giving the plate a rich, organic sense of depth and contrast. The vivid butter-yellow center well adds a bright, traditional touch found on many fine oyster plates of the era. Made from high-quality glazed porcelain, this piece shows the classic craftsmanship associated with H & C: precise molding, saturated colors, and a well-balanced design.
