The set was produced by Hazel-Atlas Glass Company in the late 1940s and 1950s.
It was marketed under various names, including "Sip, Snack, and Smoke" sets due to a built-in ashtray compartment on the plate.
The design features a ribbed plate surface and distinctive "ball" or "bead" handles on both the plate and cup.
These sets were popular for informal gatherings, such as card games and luncheons.
One tray has an imperfection, as seen in photos.
These are sturdy, heavy pieces.
