The 100-110 year old Stewart Warner Warning Signal vintage horn is a mechanical plunger horn designed for signaling purposes made in the early 1900s probably between 1910 and 1915. This horn has a diameter of 4.5 inches and a length of 8.5 inches. This horn is missing the plunger handle, the diaphragm, and does not have a mounting bracket. The bell appears to be a combination of brass and steel. I do not know much about these older horns but I cleaned it up and painted what I could. I do not know if the horn would work if all the parts were there or not, so assume it does not work. The gear portion of the horn appears to mesh as they should and turns easily. Look at the pictures to determine if this is the horn you need. I cannot accept returns on this horn since it is being sold for parts and have listed it as in poor condition only because of the missing parts.
